About Kako Campbell

Kako Campbell, Certified Life and Transformative Coach

I'm a certified life and transformative coach offering inclusive, trauma-informed, and culturally sensitive support. My coaching officially began in 2021, but the work itself is far older than that. For more than fifteen years I have sat with people in the tender, complicated middle of their lives, as a therapeutic access coach, a counsellor and youth and family case manager, a family strategist, a parent advocate, and a neurodivergent dayhome owner. On paper those read like five different jobs. In practice they were always the same one. Whether the work was called counselling, therapeutic support, case management, or advocacy, it came down to the same quiet thing: being fully present with a real person and helping them find clarity, steadiness, and a way forward.

That is why I can say, honestly, that every one of those roles was life coaching. Each one simply met people in a different room of their lives. The counselling met the pain, the case management met the crisis, the advocacy met the fight, the strategy met the overwhelm. The name on the door kept changing. The work behind it never did.

Somewhere along the way I moved from that broad, whole-life coaching into parent and family coaching, and for a while I thought of them as two different things. They aren't. Parenting coaching and life coaching are the same work. Parenting simply names a specific problem to steady, a particular relationship or season to hold, while life coaching keeps the whole picture in view: your sense of self, your patterns, your boundaries, all of where you are headed. Whether you come to me to work through one hard thing or to find your way back to yourself entirely, we are doing the same work, only at a different depth of the frame.

You were never meant to heal in pieces.
You are whole, all the way through.

So today my door is open to the whole of you. Some people come with a single, specific challenge. Others come because something in their life has gone quiet, or heavy, or unclear, and they are ready to feel like themselves again. Life asks a great deal of all of us, in a hundred different rooms, and there is no season of it you were ever meant to carry entirely on your own.

“This work isn't one-size-fits-all. Whoever you are, however you love, whatever you carry, and wherever you come from, this is a space created with compassion, respect, and understanding for you.”

My Philosophy

I believe every person on this planet needs support in some way, shape, or form. Not because we are broken, but because none of us were ever meant to carry our lives alone. One of my truest skills is the ability to meet you exactly where you are, with no expectation that you arrive polished, certain, or already figured out. Come as you are, on whatever kind of day it is. Nothing about you needs tidying first, and wherever you are standing is where we begin.

My approach combines evidence-based strategies with holistic wellness practices. Together we might work on personal development and confidence, conflict resolution, healthy boundaries, family systems awareness, and mind-body-spirit wellness, shaped around whatever you are actually carrying, from a whole-life reset to a single specific challenge. Sessions are available both in-home and online, because support should fit your real life, not the other way around.
